History:

More than a year ago, the Marcus Garvey Park Alliance (MGPA) and Mt. Morris Park Community Improvement Association (MMPCIA) joined forces and created the joint Marcus Garvey Park Committee. Both organizations, serving as Parks Community Partners,  have a long history of advocacy in supporting and improving Marcus Garvey Park (MGP).
