Program Highlights
We’ll cover exciting updates—like Marcus Garvey Park’s path toward the National Registry of Historic Places – plus community sustainability efforts with Refettorio Harlem, whose organization is doing powerful work bringing dignity, nourishment, and creativity to the heart of our neighborhood.

You’ll also hear from special guests including, Manhattan Borough Commissioner for the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, Tricia Shimamura and Rev. Dr. Kahli C. Mootoo, Senior Pastor of Emanuel AME Church (our host) and learn about upcoming events, including our annual stoop sale and the Patricia Pates Eaton scholarship program. We’re accepting applications now.
