Debora Clark Fairfax

 

Debora Clark Fairfax, (she, her) has been a Harlem resident for the past 40+ years and has been an active member in MMPCIA since it’s inception.  Debora volunteered for many MMPCIA House Tours, community planting projects, community picnics, Mt Morris Talks forums and MMPCIA Halloween events.  Debora is currently chair of the MMPCIA scholarship committee.  Debora retired from NYC DOE as a special needs educator after 32+ years.  She is a recognized photographer and world traveler.  Debora along with colleague Sandra Benn operate “Travel with a Purpose, Inc.” a 501 (c3) that collects gently used children’s clothes and shoes. We’ve donated in Accra Ghana, Nairobi Kenya, Port a Prince Haiti and local Harlem homeless shelters.   We also donate school supplies, winter coats and toys during our annual toy drive.

Debora is married to Richard F. Fairfax and mother to Jesse, Ishmael and Isiah.
