Ramonita Cordero

Ramonita Cordero is the Secretary of the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association (MMPCIA). She was raised in Harlem and has lived in the Mount Morris Park Historic District for 16 years with her teenage daughter. During that time, Ramonita served as President of her Cooperative’s Board. She has been involved in leadership roles and addressing issues affecting the community through her participation on Boards and Committees. Ramonita is passionate about continuing to drive improvement in the Harlem community. She is a graduate of New York University undergraduate and UCLA Law School. She practices matrimonial and family law and is a former senior member of three legal services organizations, served as an adjunct professor in family law at St. John’s University School of Law and has been appointed to several City and State panels.
