Timnit Abraha

Timnit and her family have lived in the Mount Morris Park Historic District for 12 years. During these years Timnit has served on her Cooperative’s board. Timnit has supported and led real estate strategies for educational and nonprofit institutions over the past 15 years. She is currently the Vice President of Real Estate for a nonprofit with a health equity focus.

Prior to this she served as Director of Harvard University Real Estate managing 3.4 million square feet across 94 buildings and was noted for creative lease structuring during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Timnit has also served as Asset and Lease Management Consultant for the United Nations, Director of Real Estate for Teach for America, and Property Manager for Columbia University Real Estate.
